Seven Years of Uncertainty
After seven years displacing, Mollucans IDPs have not get any certainty yet about their future. The IDPs could not even get their basic rights, such as housing, returning facilities, public and social facilities, security and law regulations and other basic needs.
One will think that after the IDPs returned or relocated, the problems will be over, but this is a beginning of a new problem. About how the IDPs will be able to continue their lives at the new place, and how they will survive and gain a new and decent life and livelihood.
The government also knew that it is impossible to handle the problems of IDPs and relocate them right at the estimated target, so then they prolong it by January 31, 2006. This government statement psychologically affected the IDPs who are so confuse about the uncertainty of their lives.
From the illustration above, a solution is needed and it must be figured altogether by all stakeholders in Mollucas to think of the best solution for the sake of the IDPs.
